Activities
The proximity to Lake Huillinco offers opportunities for peaceful walks, photography, and birdwatching. From this location, it is also easy to reach some of Chiloé’s most iconic attractions, such as Muelle de las Almas, Chiloé National Park, Cucao, and Tepuhueico Park. In addition, visitors can explore rural communities, traditional fairs, and local ventures, enjoying an authentic and tranquil experience.
How to get there
We are located in the Los Lagos Region, in the heart of Chiloé, along Route W-800 Km 5.7, Los Lagos (Huillinco area, Chonchi), just steps from Lake Huillinco and surrounded by native forest.
The journey includes a ferry crossing through the Chacao Channel, where waiting and sailing times may vary and can affect the total travel time.

Flights from Buenos Aires (EZE/AEP)→ Santiago (SCL) (approximately 2:00–2:30 hrs) + connection from Santiago (SCL) → To Puerto Montt (PMC) (approximately 1:40–2:00 hrs)
Bariloche (BRC) → To Chonchi (Chiloé) approximately 540–560 km (10:00–13:00 hrs, considering border control and ferry waiting time)
From Puerto Montt Airport (PMC) → To Arrayanes de Huillinco Cabins: approximately 220–260 km (4:30–6:00 hrs, including the Pargua–Chacao ferry crossing)
From Castro (Mocopulli Airport, MHC) → To Arrayanes de Huillinco Cabins: approximately 60–80 km (1:00–1:20 hrs)

Arrayanes de Huillinco Cabins is a conscious tourism project born from the shared dream of Óscar Leal and his son, Juan Pablo. Together, they lead this retreat with a deep commitment to caring for the land, living in harmony with nature, and offering a truly authentic Chilote experience.
Built with native wood by local artisans, our cabins blend traditional Chilote craftsmanship with modern comfort. We are a pet-friendly retreat, surrounded by native forest and just moments from Lake Huillinco, Muelle de las Almas, and Chiloé National Park.
